01
Radon is a radioactive gas from the ground. You cannot see or smell it, and high levels are common in Colorado homes. The only way to know is to test.
We place a continuous monitor in the lowest lived-in level for at least 48 hours. The EPA recommends fixing a home at or above 4 pCi/L, and a mitigation system usually solves it.

What if the result is high?
Ask the seller about a mitigation system. Most homes drop well below 4 pCi/L once one is installed, and we can retest after.
The house already has a mitigation system. Should I test?
